Quisiera decir algo bueno, y solamente que tiene tesitura de tenor péro no es suficiente, es una voz y timbre nada fino y voz y sonido rasposo, nada limpio pára interpretar esta aria. Una voz corriente y deficiencias notables. Voz lijosa rasposa.

Under-rated always and yet a great master. Breath control few can match.

Possibly the finest Mozart tenor I have ever heard. It is as if he invented circular breathing for the human voice, and this is from a live performance. Extraordinary! Possessed of a touch of an heroic ring in his voice, he would surely have been wonderful as Walther in Die Meistersinger, and I wouldn't mind betting that Solti tried hard to talk him into doing it.

I had the pleasure of Tour Managing the State Opera of South Australia around Sth.Aust., with a production of La Boheme. Dennis O'Neill played Rudolfo & Gwen Annear played Mimi in about 1976. It was an arduous tour but with many wonderful moments.

Magnificent.
